Rogie Falls car park, just off A835 (signposted)
View full route description
We chose to do this route in a clockwise direction, saving the falls for towards the end of the walk. To do the same follow the track from the car park and take the first left. Follow the blue directional posts (Riverside Trail) to complete the loop.
WALK REPORT: 2ND NOVEMBER 2018
The colour of the trees…… the quirky uneven footpath meandering through the forest….. the sound of the falls long before being able to see them…. the purpose-built suspension bridge affording uninterrupted views of the gushing torrent that is Rogie Falls….. There was much to love about this walk!
It may have been super short in distance at less than a mile, but we found this walk to offer a lot of variety and ‘oh wow’ moments. To be honest, I was in my element – snap happy! Despite being early November and fairly late in the day, there were lots of other visitors; a testament to the beauty of these easily-accessible forestry walks. There was a good sized car park complete with interpretation boards and toilets (closed for the winter during our visit!) I will let the photos speak for themselves….
