A circular walk leading you around The Binn, a 193m (633ft) hill which dominates the Fife town of Burntisland. Walk 142 – Dalgety Bay to Braefoot Pier Coastal Walk – 7 miles

This is a semi-loop which begins in the upmarket residential area of St Davids and follows the Fife Coastal Path through several small woodlands to reach Braefoot Pier at the eastern end of Dalgety Bay. The return follows the pleasant NCN76 cycle path for a short distance before re-joining the Coastal Path. Superb views towards the Forth bridges and Inchcolm Island, and if you are lucky you might spot roe deer and pheasants along the way! Pass the remains of St Bridget’s Kirk and some WW1 and WW2 bunkers in Braefoot woods. Walk 112 – The Limekilns in Charlestown, Fife – 3.8 miles

A combination of coastal footpaths and inland countryside tracks give this circuit variety. Starting along the promenade, delve into the history of the village of Charlestown as you pass the 14 limekilns which were quarried into the cliffs in the 1700s. Walk on the former Elgin railway followed by a minor road high behind the village before returning to the shorefront via a series of farm and woodland tracks. Walk 104 – Shore Road, Torryburn

The Shore Road between Torryburn and Crombie Point is a tarmac footpath which widens to become a narrow road with some impressive sized homes to the left. It runs along the Firth of Forth and on a clear day you will be able to make out the illustrious skyline of the Grangemouth Refinery.
